Updates

Today we heard from Flat Maddie. She is continuing her adventures in Chicago. She even got to see a Chemistry show at the Museum of Science and Industry. The show was called "Bangs, Flashes, and Fire." They filled a balloon with hydrogen and oxygen gas (the main components of rocket fuel). We heard a LOUD bang when the experiment was over!

Flat Donald traveled from Tennessee to Kentucky. He listened to gospel and bluegrass music at Renfro Valley. In Berea, KY he watched artisans make crafts. He even dined and slept at historic Boone Tavern which was named for the great pioneer Daniel Boone.

Flat Chase continued his visit in Chillicothe, OH and he even got to see the former home of one of Ohio's previous governors - Thomas Worthington. Flat Chase also saw the landscape on which the Great Seal of the State of Ohio was based.

Flat Brooke enjoyed her stay in Chicago. She even tried some yoga with Brooke's aunt! Brooke received a Chicago postcard from Flat Brooke, and she was excited to see that it was the same Chicago postcard that was sent from a classmate's flat friend who is also visiting Chicago.
